The path to an unusual fragrance can be quite diverse: whether the perfumer is looking for light, lemony scents in a time of opulent fragrances or perfumers work fair and sustainable in the luxurious world of fragrances. There are also trend-setting changes, which are so new, that they challenge our nose in the first place.

For the Spring/Summer 2020 edition of the LUDWIG BECK Beauty Magazine our team and photographer Jens Mauritz staged fragrances of perfume brands which have changed the world of perfume with their ideas, philosophy and compositions. For the setup, paper artist Julia Riedel created fine three-dimensional paper worlds matching the parfum ingredients and set on a coloured background. The selected placement of a few flacons underlines the special nature of the individual fragrances.
