In each issue of M-Puls we present three special Munich residents: People who make the city a better place with their ideas and at the same time have a connection to the SWM. Dirk Bruniecki photographed the people and projects in issue 04/2019 for us.

  • Ina and Gunther Laux at a large white desk in their architectural office
  • Claudia Frey and Clemens Baumgärtner from UnternehmerTUM on building site in Munich's creative quarter
  • IsarSlam organizers Pierre Jarawan and Ko Bylanzky stand on the banks of the Isar in Munich

We talked to Ina and Gunther Laux about the topic "Munich of tomorrow", the focus of the M-Puls winter edition 2019. Together with SWM, the architect couple are creating a district with future potential. In an interview they reveal how Munich residents will live in the future.

We also talked to Claudia Frey, Managing Director of UnternehmerTUM, and Clemens Baumgärtner, the City of Munich's economic advisor, about the Munich of the future - and how the Munich Urban Colab is helping to shape it.

As organizers of the Isar Slam, Munich's largest monthly poetry slam, Pierre Jarawan and Ko Bylanzky ensure that the subculture remains alive in the city. The duo told us why you should definitely visit the event in the Muffathalle.

You can read more stories about the future plans for the Bavarian capital in M-Puls 04/2019.
