Double page from the LUDWIG BECK beauty magazine Autumn/Winter 2019 with products for smokey eyes

The looks created by our team at photographer Kathrin Makowski's cover shoot for the Autumn/Winter 2019 issue of LUDWIG BECK Beauty Magazine followed a simple yet sound principle: the basis of good make-up is beautiful skin.

For the issue's foundation guide, cover model Melanie was styled with a naturally radiant complexion. Two further looks then built on this: Smokey Eyes in copper shades suitable for everyday use, and a stronger eye make-up in metallic bronze tones.

To emphasise the natural tones of the make-up, Melanie was photographed against a dark green background, creating a natural yet festive look. The striking result of this beauty shoot graces the cover of the magazine, as well as the LUDWIG BECK beauty online shop and the corresponding newsletter.
